Status of the clamp.
SwarmLatch is research and development. Not a public API. Not a generally available product. This page is the operating status of the three primitives, in present tense.
Surface
ChannelDetect and freeze agent-to-agent writes that were not on an allowlisted bus. Smallest runtime win. First object to ship when hooks into tool-call and filesystem mediation exist.
TranscriptAppend-only, hash-chained actions. Spoof equals a visible break. Required before census claims can be checked.
QuorumThe collective cannot assign work or form a shared aim off-record. Freeze a workstream, a channel, a tool call.
CensusGraph of who talked, who assigned, what aim cluster formed. Claims point at raw spans.
ReviewLives on HiveNosis. Post-incident reconstruction. Every claim is a pointer.
Integration shape
Channel and Transcript need hooks into tool-call and filesystem mediation. If those hooks are not available, Census leads and Review ships first. Labs pay faster for “this cannot happen again” than for a nicer autopsy. Both objects are required. They are not the same object.
The wedge is collective formation among agents that were supposed to be alone. Not a general AI SOC.
Preferred category language
Agent-collective control. Swarm oversight. Unlatched coordination.
- Not “AI swarm defense” as a hero line.
- Not an Iron Dome for agents.
- Not an autonomous kill chain, hunt, neutralize, or zap.
- Not fully autonomous oversight. A human checks the claim.
